小象在公园的山坡上一路往下：滑下滑梯、滚下山坡、一级一级坐下台阶，顺着绳子滑下来，跳进落叶堆，看溪水哗哗往下流，小兔钻进洞里，再坐上小雪橇冲下草坡——到底啦！听一听“Down the steps!”，和孩子一起边做动作边说“Down!”。不用识字，也不用准备图卡。
Little Elephant spends a sunny day on the park hill going down, down, down: down the slide, down the hill, down the steps and down the rope, then into a big pile of leaves. The stream tumbles down over the stones, a bunny pops down into its burrow, and he zips down the grass on a little sled. Listen for “Down the steps!” and move along together. 给家长的小提示
“Down”和上一集的“Up”是一对，最好配着动作一起学：上楼说 Up，下楼说 Down；举高说 Up，蹲下说 Down。指一指、做动作都算参与，不用一次记住全部单词，愿意开口时再跟着说。
“Down” pairs with “Up” from the last episode, and both are easiest to learn with movement: “Up” on the way upstairs, “Down” on the way down; “Up” when lifting a toy, “Down” when crouching. Pointing and moving along are real participation; there is no need to remember every word at once.
